Brief Thought on Resistance

Resistance can take on many forms – economic (boycott); political (voting); organized (protest) – but for it to be most effective it must be personal and peaceful. It cannot be in a group context lest we lose sight of the individual who is so often sacrificed on the altar of group-think; any well-intentioned movement that seeks to innovate social consciousness can easily, and dangerously, become the new ‘machine’.
