In my previous post I posed the question, ‘how are shadows produced?‘
We know that in the physical world they are produced when objects block the path of light, casting shadows. As above, so below. Let’s continue.
Could it be that our shadows are produced by our identifying more with matter and mechanism (Newtonian paradigm) than with energy and possibilities (Einsteinian paradigm)?
Could this fundamental Newtonian worldview (and self-view), which denies the inherent energetic nature of matter and the spiritual core of life, create an objectified, externalized perspective that cannot see beyond the physical existence?
Can such a worldview (Newtonian) lend itself to a nature-based spirituality, one which accepts and understands the unity of all things at the elemental level?
The Newtonian view sees all things being separate; the Einsteinian view sees the oneness in all things.
An example of how the Newtonian paradigm is applied, with disastrous consequences, is the separatist worldview that lies at the heart of the world’s 3 major religions – Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. They all serve personified, exclusionary gods who are separated from Humanity by a wall of sin and shame and who command that all conform to their respective creeds or be judged and destroyed. These major religions maintain an ‘us vs. them’ duality which produces only separation, exclusion and, inevitably, conflict.
The Einsteinian view (which, by the way, is not new – the mystics and earth-based spirituality of indigenous peoples have understood the unity of all life expressions for eons) declares the unity of all things as intelligently structured and arranged expressions of energy. Thus, Creator (not God, and it’s not merely a semantic difference) is present in all things.
IN CREATOR WE ALL, REGARDLESS OF OUR EXTERNAL DIFFERENCES, LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING!
All matter is made up of energy. At the nucleus of all states of matter (solid, liquid, gas….and whatever else) is energy, vibration, information, light at varying frequencies. As such, then, all matter is structured and organized along pathways of intention (intelligence and design). How else can we explain how one arrangement of atoms and molecules becomes a tree, another a fish, another a cloud and another a planet?? That would be akin to taking a collection of bricks and building a house and taking another collection of the same kind of bricks and making a dress.
Impossible, right?? At the level of bricks, yes; in the domain of atoms and quantum particles, no.
And how we view matter is a matter of perspective. How we view life and ourselves and events and environments are likewise matters of perspective. A rainy day for a child who wants to play baseball in the park is a curse; the farmer gives thanks for that same rain.
So then, if we subscribe to an objectified, separatist view of things then the thoughts which spring from that view will cast shadows. How? Because thoughts are things, and through our Newtonian beliefs our thoughts of things are framed in a 3-dimensional model of the universe. And if the things we think are objectified then they will cast shadows in and through our being.
In contrast, if we adhere to the truth that EVERYTHING is an expression of energy, of light, then there is no separation in essence; no objectification of thought; and, as a result, no shadows for there is only the consciousness of all things as energy, as light, and united as one, elementally.
Darkness is NOT the problem!!! Darkness is part of the natural cycle and, therefore, necessary. And to repeat what was stated in yesterday’s post, there are no shadows in darkness.
Light is not the problem, obviously, for it expresses and supports a wide variety of life and growth.
Our fears, our insecurities, our prejudices, our hatred, our crimes, and so forth, are not the fruits of darkness for, again, darkness is necessary. They are shadows of personality and character cast by the objectification of thoughts via beliefs grounded in the Newtonian paradigm that sees all things as separate, 3-dimensional matter.
Let me repeat this another way – the suffering of Humanity and of the individual are shadows produced by our being conditioned in a Newtonian worldview which maintains the separation of all things and by our adherence to Newtonian religions which perceive along the same lines of separation and exclusion.
WE ARE NOT SEPARATE FROM ONE ANOTHER. WE ARE NOT SEPARATE FROM CREATOR.
WE ARE ONE WITH ONE ANOTHER, ONE WITH ALL NATURE, ONE WITH CREATOR.
CREATOR LIVES AND EXPRESSES IN US, THROUGH US, AS US. CREATOR LIVES AND EXPRESSES AS ALL THINGS.
GIVE NO REGARD TO THE EXTERNAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HUMANS. THERE IS NO ELEMENTAL DIFFERENCE OR SEPARATION, ONLY VARIETIES IN THE EXPRESSION OF THE LIFE, LOVE, POWER, WISDOM, BEAUTY, TRUTH AND ABUNDANCE OF CREATOR IN US, THROUGH US, AS US.
