the cause, what it is of why we splinter

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter

along falsified lines that redefine
the meaning of divine;
in history it is unseen,
what only the victor did glean
and what they included
in the history that’s seen:
of what took place
in the falsified dream

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

your eyes locked on mine
through the central divide,
there was no time, no rhyme,
no reasoning of mind,
an emotion, a burst,
phenomenal at first,
but wait, but wait
the story gets worse…

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

where gathered as one
the minds of an enemy,
to privilege the few
and enslave the assembly;
the whole of humanity
they seek to devour,
by turning to lies
the inner man’s power.

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

the flash blindly beamed –
much sound and much fury –
down fell the brown
with gold-plated jewelry;
red ran and it ran,
slowly at first,
then gushed and gushed,
his life had burst.

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

their consent give the assembly
in tithings of faith,
riches deceitfully,
til the coming of the wraith;
the lies bode well for the blind and the dead,
who see without sight
a tail when it’s a head.

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

he left with his life
the body growing cold,
with the anguish of life
that made him feel old;
it was a hard life, surely it was,
but the lessons were lost
the “why’s” and “because“…
those could have saved me!
not religion and wars!

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

til a question arises that disturbs their sleep,
awakening the mind and
scattering the sheep –
that gather no glory
for in fear and in fright,
they run from demons
and things equally gory
like,

The truth is inside,
you are your own glory!

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

‘now I build my life
one choice at a time,
all I can do
to salvage the mind;
to be free of subjection,
the worse kind of enslavement,
where for a dollar a day
I begged on the pavement;
to be glared at and hated
was enough humiliation,
but denied my humanity
thru my own cooperation!? –
was no way to live
in this self-righteous nation!’

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

Now claim your birthright,
your own divinity,
that surely is there
as is your humanity;
for you were never the one
without being the other,
just ask your teacher…
no, ask your mother…
…on second thought
see first what they have discovered!
the answer not there?
then on your path continue,
for the Search you will find
if Wisdom is with you;
no,’ you say with such a strange look,
the answer,’ you say,
must be in a book.’
Fine, I’ll forbear
with patience in hand,
look here, chapter and verse,

God doesn’t dwell in
temples made with hands!

show more,’ you say,
that can’t be true!’ –
how’s this then?

The kingdom of heaven is within you.

brown earth, brown skin
blue sky, blue eyes
green in summer, white in winter
the cause, what it is of why we splinter…

Only dismiss the book
when you have no need of it,
but hold to the truth
and the precious seed in it;
for you will reveal
what can’t be concealed,
that,

The truth is within,

once you are healed
of all the lies the deceivers killed you with,
to bring you back home…
…to your inner genesis.

brown earth….brown skin
blue sky….blue eyes
green in summer….white in winter
the cause I know now of why we splinter….
